CHILDHOOD

Reading this from Fred's, it brought lots of memories coursing through my mind. It reminds me of those carefree, worry-less days and when every small thing is an adventure waiting to be discovered.

I remember when Tora (cheap toy in box + like 9 ketul of chocolate coated biscuit) was first introduced. and how excited I was when Dad brought me to town (small town of Song, Kapit). We walked from our home to the town and Dad bought me Tora (a G.I. Joe type figure inside) and a dress for the school concert. Bear in mind that money was rather tight in those years, so the treats were a rare luxury for me.

I remember how disappointed Mum was when she saw what I did to my new homemade dress (Sorry, mak) . Being a tomboy-ish girl, I ripped the dress to rags within 5 hours. That's the last time Mom made me waer a dress at home. Heheh

I remember when I punched the dentist. Not sorry for that. She gave me a lifelong phobia for anything to do with dentist.

I remember when I was unjustly caned ten times by Mdm Susie Wong with a rattan cane as big as a thumb. She was angry at my Dad (Dad was the headmaster). I swear I'll cane her if I ever meet her again. Biar dia rasa...

I remember when Sis and I used to quarell all the time whenever she's back from her boarding school. When she's away, I will be pining and missing her. But when she's home, like cats and dogs.

I remember how my brothers used to 'manja' and also bully me at the same time. Still does :)

When Dad and Mom forced me to drink the vile yucky herbal whatever to cure me :(

When Dad force me to makan nasi. Drama crying session every night :(

When they force me to makan ubat... until now, still does :(

How I hated any food that's green. Sayur lah tu...

How I cannot play atas rumput due to my extremely sensitive skin. :(

Sorry...sorry... I know I've been a bad, tardy, procrastinating blogger for not updating as regular as you (or myself) would've liked. Well, things are rather complicated and deadlines are looming (yet, it feels unreal & unrushed). .

Since the last update, I was busy doing revisions for my exams (actually I was busy reading story books also la. not that rajin actually). Was ok, can actually answer without too much kelentong-ing the answers. =) Grace's students could possibly benefit from me in providing answers in their exams. Amacam Grace? Wanna take my offer? :p

Happy Birthday to the two most important people in my life. Dad (10thSept) & Mum (11th Sept). Dad celebrates his 60th birthday and Mum's 54th birthday. They actually had a small makan2 at eldest bro's house which sadly, I was unable to attend. God bless you Mum & Dad! We love ya!

Congrats to Dad for getting his BBS also. :)

And the other reason I was away was that the Emperor Cat of the house underwent a procedure called 'spaying' or in pasar-style (kena potong itu biji). The aim is to reduce or avoid him wandering away and involving in fights for any female cats.

After the procedure, HRH Emperor Kecik (he's supposed to be eunuch rite?) was very demanding in terms of places to sleep (my bed and specifically my blanket), food (fresh, crispy Friskies only) and MILK. MILK! (Aiyo, 1 day we finish 1 ltr milk between the two of us). HRH also requires constant presence of yours truly (want to go out also have to tidurkan him also and sneak out quietly).

Thankfully, after 1 week, HRH's demands have significantly reduced but still kacau2 me to open door, open window, put food etc. , all at the ungodly hour of 3 or 4 a.m.

But then, it's just so lovely when u feel that warm furry feline snuggle against your legs.. even if it conquers the whole blanket and left you half-frozen.

Oh ya, he snores too.


Introducing HRH Emperor Kichik (cat that snores) ... his most cooperative picture so far. Usually he will look away and refuse to look at the camera.

And now my dog, Salem, is very sick at home. Dunno if Sarikei got vet or not. :(

Oh ya. Got meself new cellphone.My ol' trusty 2100 almost gone kaput with the keypad gone 'gila2'. Was actually looking for a clamshell type but finally get the candybar type. Wanna see???



Mine is the one with the dark blue type. Ok lah, the camera function oso consider ok(Just VGA with 4X zoom function). bla-bla-bla (more info here)

Anyway worth the RM320 I parted just to get this phone. Ol' 2100 traded-in at RM100.
