It was during Pesta Nanas and I was walking around, looking at nothing in particular, when we met.
It was instantaneous.
My heart raced and cold sweat glistened on my forehead.
I must have you, I told myself.
But it was not meant to be. I was broke and money-less. I realized right there and then that we'd have to part ways.
My heart broke. But I made a promise to myself that should we ever meet again, I will not give up. I will have you.

Fast forward to Pesta Nanas 2008.
This time I went, hopeful that I will meet you again. I saw one that looked similar to you but alas, it was not you. It was pale in comparison to you. You, my dear, is one of a kind.
I was eager to catch a glimpse of you that I dragged my friend along in my quest to meet you again. I almost lost hope until I saw you right there. As if you were waiting for me. I quickly made up my mind. Whatever it costs, you will be coming home with me.
