Geram, Gidan, Ringat

Sepi asai. Makin aku udah madah aku enggai, enggai meh. Majak gak. Kumbai rindu ati aku digaga baka nya. Nya meh utai paling enda aku rindu. Mun urang bukai, sigi dah 'bihu' leka mata, bawai tulang rusuk gasak aku... Semadi ngenang laki meh. Lapa deh, nyau mati kutu meda aku nyau nyabak 'teresak-esak' ko laut. Jera asai... Udah tu badu, badu agik ngereja nya.

Apu, nama laya kami duai tu kah? Anang saspens ngapa yu... Ukai laya kategal isu2 *ahem* etc nya... Tang kategal aku enggai ... kena tichik...

Auk, nya meh utai pengambis enggai aku. Ari aku mit kelia sampai diatu amat2 enggai aku. Lapa deh nembiak sama Uni ngau aku suba kala kena penampar kategal nichik perut aku... Kawan housemate aku kena pulas jari pun udah... Ba aku madah enggai. Sida menyadi aku udah meda aku nyau ka luput laban kena tichik agik mit suba. Udah kena pajuh sida Boss, lapa deh, alu badu sida ia... Ko urang geledi kena tichik, tang sepi aku nadai jalai geledi... Pedis nya sepi aku. Mensia siku-siku enda sama. Nya alai anang sengapa.

31 days and Counting

Well, so far it's been 31 days since I moved to Kch (okay, 29 days if you insist, minus the 2 days I spent frantically packing up stuffs at home). New place, new environment, new people means new challenges. Am not going to discuss work-related stuff in detail anyways.

Week 1: Trying to adapt to the environment. Still no gas stove so almost every day makan di kedei (sampai rasa muak sungguh2!). House still looked like tongkang pecah, even thinking about unpacking made me tired. Replacement Saturday. Decided to get a gas stove and kitchen cabinet by hook or by crook.

Week 2: Nothing much. Identified that one of the classes that I taught is filled with trolls (verified by the other senior teachers). Ugh! Heavy rain. Flood. Trolls missed school.Bliss. The in-laws came for a visit.

Week 3: SSDW. My two nieces spent the weekend a my place. Shopping. After church went to purchase washing machine and a fridge. Habis lah NT* Laundry lost one of their customer.. Ha ha

Week 4: Sports Week. TGIF coz it means holiday is near. Bought a wardrobe. Now at last, tongkang pecah no more!

Well, there you go. A short summary of my 31 days so far. Haven't had the time to go for a dip in the pool. Asal petang jak mesti hujan...

What are your plans for the CNY holiday? My bestie, Kathy, is having her wedding on the 1st day of CNY itself, so I'll be going there armed with my camera. Then, it's off to my parents' place for a couple of days. Pick up some of the stuffs I forgot to pack last time.

A.M. Musings

Okay, I must confess this.

I miss my cat.

My cat misses me too.

Tomorrow I'll be on a 6-hour bus ride back home since I'm off for a 3-day course starting Monday (Kursus Induksi Kaedah Baru a.k.a 'Kursus Sik Cukup Duit' so it's much much shorter than the older version that takes 2 weeks previously). So far this holiday I've been travelling to and fro almost every week. Sigh... Tiring but what to do. Then after the course I'll be very busy with the preparation for the traditional reception and once that one is done, it's preparation for Christmas - baking cookies and probably helping out with the preparation for my niece's engagement.

Oh ya, I almost forgot that I have yet to complete my 'How to plan your wedding without strangling someone' post... Really need to finish it before I forget the details.

Haih, I'm not really making any sense here. I need sleep yet I'm not sleepy.

My Beb's Wedding

Congratulations to my Beb @ Hornbill @ Grace on the joyous occasion. The UNIMAS gang was also there to share the happiness. I couldn't take photos during the traditional reception held at the bride's longhouse as I was the emcee for the reception. Beb had booked me since early this year to emcee her reception (mati lah mak lepas ni asyik jadi emcee org kawen2).

It was wonderful to meet again with the UNIMAS gang, almaklumlah kan, semua dah kerja and scattered all over the place so weddings are always a good time to have our 'mini-reunions'... Lepas tok sapa gik mok kawen? Hehe

Actually I was to attend the reception held in Miri also but I couldn't attend it. Anyway, Julia & Dot was there to 'dera' the hubby... Mun aku ada sekali, takut trauma pulak hubby Beb...Kehkeh... Aku kan kejam.

Many thanks to Fred and Mell for giving me a ride from Kch to Skei and back again. Next year will be you guys' turn. :-)
